What is Project 40?
We are looking for 40 people to pledge to give or raise $5,000 by April 1st, 2025 to help us create Rooted Girls Home for 12 girls in Guatemala City, Guatemala!
You can be one of the 40 people who partner with us to bring CHANGE & HOPE to Guatemala. We need to raise $200,000 by April 1st, 2025 to purchase the property for Rooted Girls Home in Summer 2025. All it takes is 40 people saying YES! to partnering with us to raise the funds we need to launch Rooted Girls Home.
Together, we can rescue, restore, and rehabilitate young girls lives in Guatemala!

HOW YOU CAN JOIN THE MISSION:
Click the “JOIN PROJECT 40!” button below to sign up to be apart of PROJECT 40. By signing up, you are partnering with us to be one of the 40 people to help us reach our goal of $200,000 by April 1st, 2025.
2. On the form, there will be an option to GIVE the funds, RAISE the funds, or do a COMBINATION of both. If you are GIVING the funds you are pledging to give the $5,000 donation in full by April 1st, 2025. You can give it sooner or make multiple payments if you would like, as long as it totals to $5,000 by April 1st. If you are RAISING the funds you are pledging to have $5,000 raised through various fundraising efforts by April 1st. We encourage you to get the word out to your family and friends and rally your community together to support your efforts in starting a girls home. We will provide you with the resources you will need to help you raise the funds through our RESOURCES TO RAISE FUNDS button below. If you are doing a COMBINATION of both, you are signing up to raise a portion of the pledge and to give a portion of the pledge. On the form, you will indicate how much you are giving and how much you are raising.
3. Join us for the Grand Opening Mission Trip for Rooted Girls Home! We will be extending an exclusive invite to come on our first mission trip to Guatemala where we will celebrate the Grand Opening of Rooted Girls Home to all of our PROJECT 40 participants! You do not have to come on the trip, but you will receive an invite to join the trip before the trip is open to the public for sign ups. We will also be putting all of our PROJECT 40 participants names on our “Thank You For Helping Us Grow” wall that will be inside the property of our girls home as a thank you for partnering with us to give our girls a brand new home!
PROJECT 40 FAQ’S:
If I am raising the money, do I have to raise it all by myself?
You can raise the money for Project 40 by yourself or you can get others involved. For example, you can grab 5 friends and each commit to raising $1,000. You can partner with another couple and each commit to raising $2,500. Just keep in mind, 1 spot = a pledge to give $5,000. If you enlist 5 friends to help you raise $5,000, only one of the 40 spots is taken even though there was 5 people involved.
Can I take more than one of the 40 spots for Project 40?
Yes, you can! If you have the capacity to take more than one of the 40 spots, you are more than welcome to do so. When signing up, you can indicate on the form how many spots you are signing up for. Keep in mind, each spot is a pledge to donate $5,000 whether you are giving it or raising it.
What happens if I do not raise the $5,000 I have pledged to raise by April 1st?
The goal is for each of our Project 40 participants to have their full pledge amount in by April 1st. We believe each of our participants can do it with a lot of intentionality, hard work, and prayer! If you do not have the full amount in by April 1st, we will ask that you have turned in whatever amount you have raised by April 1st, 2025 and that you continue to put forth your best efforts to raise the remainder of the pledge amount in the 2-3 months that follow.
How do I turn in my Project 40 donation if I am giving the funds?
You can turn in your Project 40 pledge anytime and you do not have to wait until April 1st, 2025. In fact, the sooner we have the pledge money in hand, the better! Though, April 1st is the ultimate deadline to have your pledge funds turned in. To submit your pledge, you can either give it online via your credit card or your bank account. If you submit your pledge online, we are asking that each donor checks the box to cover the processing fees so we receive the full pledge without any fees taken out.
